My Camera Gear
There is a lot that goes into a photographer's bag for their sessions, it can often get really heavy to carry around all that gear! That is why I love my Kattee messanger bag! It is perfect for holding all of my gear and keeping a lot of weight off of my back(since it goes over my shoulder!) Plus it has so many pockets and compartments for everything I need! Here is what is inside...
- Nikon D3400 Camera Body: right now my only camera body, but it is so compact and reliable for just starting out as a beginner! I love this camera and will most likely keep it as a backup whenever I upgrade!

- Nikon 70-300mm Lens
- I love all of my lenses, they give me so much variety in images, my favorite is the 85mm because you can capture so much with it and the bokeh is amazing!
- Extra batteries- you never want to be without battery for any kind of session, especially on an 8 hour wedding day! Make sure you have at LEAST 2 backups with you wherever you go!
- Neewer NW561 Speedlight- great for low lighting at wedding receptions
- Extra memory cards and memory card case- You never know what could happen to a memory card when you are out at a session or a wedding, things happen, they can break and corrupt, so always bring extra ones along with you!
- Cleaning kit- Handy for cleaning your lens and camera on the go!
- Lens filters
- First Aid Kit- You never know when someone is going to get a papercut or worse! I like to have this little kit on hand whenever I go to a session or wedding, that way if anyone gets hurt you are there to the rescue!
There are also a few extras that I like to pack if I am going to be doing a 8-10 hour wedding! I usually bring snacks, any medications I need, Ibuprofen or Tylenol in case of headaches(which I get often so I always remember these for long days!) I also bring extra ponytails, safety pins, wipes, emergency items in case the bride or anyone were to run into a hair or wardrobe issue! I will also pack kleenex(for happy tears) and a tide pen in case of any dinner mishaps!
