Top 3 Reasons why the Nikon 85mm is my favorite lens for Portraits

  1. It creates beautiful background Bokeh
  2. The 85mm lens allows you to get a beautiful creamy blurred background with your subject crystal clear and in focus. This effect makes a gorgeous image that your client is sure to swoon over!
  3. It gives you room to give your couple some privacy while you work your magic
  4. With its long focal length you can use the 85mm to step back from your couple as they enjoy each other's company! This will give them a little more confidence in acting like themselves, which will give you beautiful and authentic portraits!
  5. The low f-stop allows you to let more light into the lens!
  6. Having the 1.4 version of the 85mm lens allows me to open it up to capture beautiful light! You can get into lower light and still create beautiful images.
