Melanie + Paul

Last fall, I met with Melanie and Paul at a park near Tomah, Wisconsin and we took some of the most gorgeous engagement photos that I have taken so far! I am so excited to capture their wedding day for them in September this year and get to see them celebrating their marriage! The scenery for their engagement session was absolutely stunning, lush pine forests and rock faces made this session a dream!

Their story:


Melanie and Paul met through her sister and brother-in-law and felt an instant connection the first time that they hung out together. On their first date they went to the bar on main street and Paul won Melanie a pug and a ladybug from one of the $1 machines that have the plastic toys in them, the rest is history. The proposal was a total suprise! They took a trip to Bayfield and ended up on a beach where Paul then dropped to one knee and proposed, after Mel said yes they went back to their hotel and enjoyed the night talking wedding plans.


In their free time they enjoy going out on their motorcycle for the day, sometimes alone or with friends! They love camping, kayaking, and tubing.They also enjoy going out with friends to bars and going on spontaneous dates. They enjoy going on double dates with friends just going for dinner and drinks and chatting. Weekends away are to visit family!
